From the early days of Music Hall and variety entertainment on television from the 1960s onwards, Cabaret is firmly entrenched in the British public’s hearts. We enjoy watching good quality entertainment that reaches out to us in a variety of ways. Whether it’s an act’s beautiful singing voice, his comic timing or his array of performance skills, an audience jumps at the opportunity to forget mundane everyday tasks and immerse themselves in having a jolly good night.
St Edmund’s first cabaret from pupils past and present will be overseen by the Director of Drama, Mark Sell, and promises to be an evening full of surprises and good old fashioned entertainment. Join our very own double act, Tor Lorentzen and Oscar Roberts, as they host this superb variety show in the marquee.
Ticket Price: £4 adult; £2 child U21
Drinks will be available to purchase from the bar in the Festival marquee from 6.30pm and during the show, in true cabaret style.
