Review of St Edmund’s Festival 2017
The St Edmund’s inaugural Festival has presented a wonderful celebration of the expressive arts here at the school.
From Freddy Kempf’s dazzling performance on the opening night to pupil concerts, Shakespeare, poetry, cabaret, a journey around the world with our young singers, a Mad Hatter’s tea party – and not forgetting the vibrant, eclectic display of pupils’ work in the Art Design and Technology Exhibition.
Mostly importantly, and at the heart of the Festival, is that our pupils have had the opportunity to showcase their own talents and watch, listen and play alongside some world-class performers.
We are looking forward to the second Festival in 2018 but in the meantime, please enjoy our review of the Festival in words and pictures.
