The vital early years

Abingdon House is our Pre-Preparatory (Pre-Prep) School, and offers children between 3 and 7 years old a happy yet purposeful atmosphere, in a secure environment within the overall St Edmund's campus. At this early stage in your child's education, we offer an excellent staff-pupil ratio, guaranteeing each pupil the close attention of highly qualified and motivated adults. Class sizes at Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 are small, and we create a warm and friendly experience, providing the sense of safety and confidence in which pupils can best develop.

Abingdon House has a wide range of facilities and teaches a broad-based curriculum that emphasises art, music, drama and sport was well as academic development. All our teachers have many years' experience of working with early year children.
