St Edmund’s is a fully accredited Forest School
We believe that the broad but distinct ethos of Forest Schooling, which enables all children to undertake small achievable tasks in the ever changing natural environment in order to develop their self-esteem and personal identity, will sit alongside and further promote the teaching and learning ethos of St Edmund’s School.
Julia Exley, the Head of the Pre-Prep says: “We are committed to making Forest Schooling an integral part of our curriculum and are proud that St Edmund’s has been a fully accredited Forest School since 2013″.
Using the beautiful grounds and woodlands on the school campus for Forest School activities enables teachers to extend learning opportunities of all its pupils. Follow link to find out more about how pupils benefit from Forest School at St Edmund’s.
