NSPCC Maths in the Pre-Prep
The Matchbox Challenge proved to be very popular and the children have managed to really use their imaginations collecting a wide range of items including lentils, hama beads, dental floss, grains of salt and raisins. It has been very exciting to see the children clutching their beautifully decorated boxes and sharing their lists of items with their classes.
The week culminated in the pupils and staff dressing up in clothing with shapes, patterns and numbers on.
The children made and brought in cakes and biscuits to sell and the money raised will be going towards the NSPCC Number day charity event that the children have supported this week. Thank you to everyone for their hard work and support.
What a colourful and fun ‘Number time’ we have all had in the Pre-Prep!
