Mother’s Day Service

The Pre-Prep children celebrated their mummies with a splendid Mother’s Day Service in our School Chapel on Thursday.  The Ladybirds and Honey Bees performed a charming song, the Crickets spoke about their mummies and showed lovingly-painted portraits and the Dragonflies delighted the audience of mummies and grandmothers with a play about the history of Mothering Sunday.  Chaplain concluded the service with prayers and then the children and their mothers and grandmothers enjoyed a splendid afternoon tea in the Dining Room – which had been beautifully decorated with daffodils.

Thank you to all the mothers and grandmothers for attending the service, and a big thank you to Mrs Walkington for the following beautiful photographs.
