Pupils celebrate the best GSCE results in 6 years
Pupils at St Edmund’s School Canterbury are this morning celebrating great GCSE success: 41% of grades achieved were A/A*, and in the grammar equivalent sets 81% of grades were A/A* and 97% A*-B. This is the result of the hard work and dedication of pupils and their teachers over a two year period.
The Head of St Edmund’s, Louise Moelwyn-Hughes, commented, ‘I am immensely proud of the achievements of our pupils, and equally appreciative of the excellence of the support which they have received from their highly committed and able teachers. This cohort proves an exciting prospect for A-level, having achieved the best results that the school has seen in 6 years.’
