Roper strikes again by raising money for the British Red Cross

2017_js_Fundraiser Red Cross 15.9 (16)Devastating floods in South Asia and the horrific hurricane Irma across the Caribbeans prompted members of Roper House to support the Red Cross in their relief work for these traumatised areas.

Charles Marshall, area community fundraiser for the Red Cross was invited to join the cake sale on Friday 15th September. “I am so impressed with the effort that has gone into this event. The atmosphere is buzzing and everyone seems to be involved,” he commented afterwards. We would like to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, baked, bought and supported this worthwhile course. We raised the incredible total of £282.81. This will be matched by the government to support the aid work of the Red Cross.
