‘Under the Sea’: Art in the Lower Junior School
What is your favourite part of St Edmund’s?
Since the beginning of July, mine is the staircase of the Junior School! Sounds strange? Come along and have a look at the magnificent ‘Under-the-sea-scene’ that all 57 children of the Lower Junior School created in just two days with the help of ‘Art Solutions’, an educational art company, who specialises in papier mâché projects. Dive down into the depths of the ocean to meet lobsters, hammerhead sharks, coelacanth fish, sea horses, humpback whales, crabs, clown fish and much more. .. It was incredible to see how well the children organised themselves in their teams. They deserve a big ‘Well done’ for working flat out to create this beautiful display!
