Tuesday's Fixtures - Dover College; Sir Roger Manwood's

Date: Tuesday 20 November 2007

On a thoroughly wet and miserable afternoon, performances reflected the weather - with the honourable exception of the Boys' Under 15 'B' XI, who beat their Dover College counterparts 5 - 0 (or possibly 6 - 0) depending on the varying accounts of the game! Certainly Disneur scored two, as did Oliver Kirkness. Oliver Middleton also scored one, to ensure a comprehensive victory.

The Under 15 'A' XI, fielding the squad due to play Charterhouse in a fortnight's time went down 3 - 5 to Dover. This wake-up call emphasised the importance of Will Marsh, absent today through illness, to the team, and the need for total concentration, whatever the opposition. Keliris (2) and Kemp scored for St Edmund's, but ex-JS sportsman Chandi Castle helped Dover to a shock away victory.

The Girls should have played two Under 15 matches against Manwood's, but the 'B' XI game was cancelled. The 'A' team lost 1 - 2, with Annalise Williams notching a late-on consolation goal.
