Reported by Tom, Will and Zoe:

For our St Edmund’s Day outing we went to the London Aquarium and the London Eye. It took two hours to get to London and as we approached we could see the Eye from the coach window.

We went to the Aquarium first. In the biggest tank we saw sting-rays, clown fish, sharks and angel fish. We even felt the sting-rays in the touch pool and saw them being fed. The angel fish were multi-coloured.

After the Aquarium we had lunch and a play. Soon after that we queued up to get on the London Eye. The whole of the Lower School fitted into five pods. We could see Buckingham Palace, Queen Victoria’s Memorial, Canary Wharf and the Wembley Stadium Arch. We also saw the Gherkin and the Houses of Parliament. It was great fun and everyone enjoyed the day. Thanks to the teachers for organising it.
