Children from some of the world’s poorest areas will have a brighter Christmas this year thanks to the generosity of our pupils.

Youngsters of all ages from the school have been taking part in Operation Christmas Child - a project of the Samaritans Purse which distributes presents to impoverished children abroad.

The Canterbury Cathedral Choristers, who are educated at the school, and other pupils, from the Nursery through to the Senior School, contributed to the project, filling shoeboxes with a variety of gifts including soft toys, sweets, pencils, tooth brushes, soaps, puzzles, colouring books and small musical instruments. In total 320 boxes were collected from the school.

Master of the Junior School, Robert Bacon, said: “It is always pleasing to see our pupils thinking of others less fortunate than themselves. This is an annual project at the school and again we have had an amazing response.”
