Tuesday 27th November - the Junior Boys' Inter-House Football semi-finals.
These two matches produced in each case the 'expected' outcome, with Warneford overcoming some stern Wagner resistance by 2 goals to one, and Watson beating Baker 4 - 2.
Lewis Piper and Declan Connor netted for Warneford, with Mitchell Brown replying for Wagner; Jack Hughes (2), Ben Kemp and Robert Penn were the Watson scorers, with Rafi Stone and Nick Keliris bagging Baker's brace.
It should be a competitive final - with Warneford and Watson pretty evenly matched.
Same afternoon - two Under 15 Girls' Hockey matches against St Lawrence College.
The two 'A' XIs played out a 1 - 1 draw at the UKC Astroturf, with Charlotte Garrett giving the SES girls the lead, only for St Lawrence to pull back an equaliser. Over at Ramsgate, the 'B' XI, playing late, and depleted by other commitments, managed.........to return with a very pleasing 3 - 1 win! Goals from Ellen Arvidsson, Julia Gawecka, and Frances Crowley thrilled coach Dina Ayoub and all the team.
