Snails Slither into Abingdon!

Mrs Green, mother of Theo from the Honey Bees class, arrived today with some interesting pets. She had brought her snails to show the children...

.... she has 60 snails! Theo was very proud to show his friends in the Bees and Crickets.

Mrs Green told us all about the foods that snails like to eat and their habitats.

Lots of the children held a snail: "They are all slimy" said Theo, "That's how they move."

We thought they were wonderful!
