British Schools Team Tennis Competitions

The first sport of the term was a Tennis fixture against Battle Abbey School in East Sussex. Trudie Cliff took a senior team of four to Battle to complete the group stage of this regional/national competition which could culminate with finals in Bolton (Lancashire!) in March.

The St Edmund's IV of Harry Callaway, Katie McNie, Leon Lai and Charlotte Pack won all four of their mixed doubles sets, conceding only four games in all. Callaway's first service game consisted of four aces!

Having beaten Bethany back in December, SES now finish top of the group, and wait nervously for the draw for the knock-out stage which begins in the week beginning February 6th. A home draw would be appreciated!
