Inter House Cross Country

The last Monday of the Lent Term, and yes! - it has to be - Inter House Cross Country, and a massive turn out of competitors made it an afternoon to savour.

In theory, every pupil in every House is expected to run, and most did, with the exceptions of those who did not show the 'house spirit' which this event usually engenders.

The results were as follows:

Junior Boys - Oliver Kirkness (Wgr)

Junior Girls - Charlotte Garrett (Wtn)

Senior Boys - Stephen Roberts (Wgr)

Senior Girls - Emma Wink (Wfd) - A new course record in 16 minutes 10 seconds!!

Many thanks indeed for all the assistance given by the course officials, and by the results' coordinators. And from the weather! For once there was no horizontal sleet to numb fingers and render score sheets totally illegible!
