This morning Forms 3, 4 & 5 and the Owls (Year 2) experienced a truly inspirational Science show. There were bangs, pops, poofs and the occasional whiz!

First, we had a mime drama called ‘Hiero’s New Crown’ which was all about volume and this was followed by a section about magnets. I loved it when Professor Albert made a magnet suspend in mid-air and when he made a metal band jump! Another great thing was when he performed the ‘table cloth’ trick to demonstrate inertia. But my favourite things were the ‘pocket rocket’ and the carbon car, powered by C02. Joseph’s bungee jump was most entertaining and everyone was most impressed by Mr & Mrs Wood’s preparation and wide range of exciting experiments. We hope to see them again soon with more exciting, sensational Science!
