'The King & I' in Pictures

The King is dead... but the memories live on. A week ago the cast of the musical extravaganza that swept all before it in the Lent term performance of 'The King and I' joined Mr Austen and many staff and parents for a reunion party in the Exhibition Hall.
The purpose? To enjoy a get-together, of course, but also to view Mr Pearce's wonderful video recording of the full costume performances. The DVD (which is now on sale) benefits from his involvement in the production: knowing who comes from where and when, as well as a thing or two about music, Mr P has created a video and sound recording that is a step ahead of some previous out-sourced drama videos.
In addition to the movie-DVD, a photo-DVD of over 150 colour pictures is available, a selection of which you see on this webpage. All the photos are included in high res form (from 10 and 12 megapixel cameras) to give best quality for printing or slideshows - as well as in low res quick-proofs to make e-mail a breeze. Every pupil is featured at some point in the pictures, many more than once. Publicity pictures, singing to the school in Chapel, and the dress rehearsal are all included.
