Archery success for Anthony Opie

Congratulations to Anthony Opie on taking 3^rd place in the Under 14 Longbow competition at the Junior National Outdoor Archery Championships at Lilleshall National Sports Centre during the summer holidays. A large event, there were over 400 competitors under the age of 18 in three different classes, Longbow, Compound and Recurve.

Anthony shows much promise for the future: his score of 421 was only ten behind the leader and he still has 18 months ahead of him in this age group. Anthony is a member of Canterbury Archers.
