The Deal Festival - Summer 2008

A very brief report from Mr Spencer Payne on the recent performances of three of our former pupils:

Three of St Edmund's finest musicians gave a lunchtime recital as part of the Deal Festival of Music and the Arts on Friday 18th July. Jacob Barnes (piano), John Mann (violin) and Hermione Jones (cello) performed to a packed and very appreciative audience at the Deal Town Hall, an intimate but beautiful venue. This demanding but well-executed concert lasted for a whole hour in which the trio performed works by Mozart, Beethoven and Rachmaninov. We hope to see them back next year!
