Outstanding performance in French GCE

Maximilian Roth (Watson), who was with us for just one year, was among the country's top ten students according to Edexcel, the UK’s largest awarding body. Out of 7567 entries, Max was amongst the top ten who achieved the highest overall marks in GCE French - at AS level.

“It is an excellent performance, and we send our congratulations to Max”, said headmaster Jeremy Gladwin. Max returned to complete his education in Germany at the end of his Lower Sixth year with St Edmund's.

“This achievement is a reflection of the dedicated hard work by Max and the inspiring teaching from the Modern Languages Department.”
