The Bug Man visits Abingdon

The Bug Man came to Abingdon House on Thursday 25^th September, to help us celebrate our new class names.

The children met stick insects, hissing cockroaches, scorpions and a tarantula. We were all very brave as well as fascinated and had an opportunity to stroke a tarantula (“It’s soft, like cat fur!”) and to have a spiny stick insect crawl up our jumpers. Madeleine was quite happy to have a millipede crawl right up to her knee, but did point out rather nervously, “I do have a hole in my tights!”
