U11A 7-a-side footballers triumph in the Spring Grove Tournament

The U11A Colts football team enjoyed a highly successful afternoon of hard-fought matches in the Spring Grove U11 7-a-side Football Tournament this week, sharing the trophy with Kent College Junior School. In a tournament of close and competitive games our boys showed outstanding team spirit and footballing skill.

Our boys won their group after beating St Lawrence College and Wellesley House, drawing against St Faith’s and losing to Kent College Junior School. After beating Ashford Friars in the semi-finals, they went through to the final against Kent College Junior School and drew a tense and exciting game 1-1.

Congratulations to team members Rory Bannigan, Will Fellows, Kyle Gerber, Fin Hunt, Cameron McDade, Tom Symons (Capt) and Curtis Tilbury. Special congratulations to goal-scorers Tom and Cameron, who scored three goals apiece.
