Senior Hockey - Kent College

Date: Friday 28 September 2007

There are tough matches, and the very tough, and KC fixtures over the years have often proved our toughest challenge.

On Thursday, the 1st XI, depleted by the absence of Natalie Barrett and Charlotte Jones,  fought hard but went down to a final score of 1 - 5. The SES goalscorer was Arabella Pemberton, already showing herself to be an excellent midfielder, even as an Upper Fifth.

The Seconds, also depleted by losing players promoted to the 1sts, had the best result of the week against our neighbours, and played out a 0 - 0 draw, with St Edmund's coming close to breaking the deadlock through Natasha Hopper. This was a more than creditable performance, played as it was - 'away' - at KC itself.
