Catering Staff Christmas Dinner - in the New Year!

Who cooks half a dozen Christmas dinners - and does the washing-up - but has to wait more than a month to eat just one? The Catering Department, of course.

School shop manageress and parent Amanda Selmon organized grounds, office, secretarial, and teaching staff to cook a Christmas dinner before the exeat weekend and serve it to our much appreciated kitchen staff. Some guests wore fancy dress.

The selection of main courses and the varied puddings kept Catering Manager Brian Reddington in good shape (pictured below). Never trust a thin cook!

The dessert trolley is pictured with the area directors from Holroyd Howe independent caterers, who came down to add their support to the event (below).

The occasion and the food were a great success and the pictures below show guests and helpers in fine form - and that was only in the first half of the evening!
