Kent Ladies' Cricket - Deveena Pithia

One of our most modest of sportspeople, and one with more talent than most is Watson House Upper Fifthformer Deveena Pithia.

For much of the summer she was playing cricket - women's cricket - at county level, representing Kent in the various tournaments that filled the fixture list.

Last Sunday, September 27th, saw the presentation of awards, at a ceremony at the St Lawrence ground in Canterbury, for the season gone by; Deveena won the trophy as the highest wicket taker for the Kent Under 15 team.

This is a great achievement for her - well done! Perhaps she will be pushing for a place in the School's 1st XI next summer, alongside Ben Kemp and Ben Pape?
