Zara Petts - further windsurfing success and selection for elite training

The School is very proud of Zara Petts’ windsurfing achievements and now congratulates her on her recent selection to the RYA East and Southeast Zone Squad and the RYA Team GBR. This confirms her rating as one of the most talented sailors in windsurfing in this country. With this selection Zara is promoted onto the RYA World Class Junior Sailor programme, which aims to assist youngsters like Zara to make the transition from ‘talented sailor’ to ‘world-class athlete’ - and to national representation. The RYA Squad system will provide the knowledge and resources to help her over the long term and she will benefit from a support team of coaches and other professionals provided by the RYA. Zara is the youngest member of the RYA East and Southeast Zone Squad.
