Tuesday Hockey - Dover College and Sutton Valence

After their 2 - 1 victory over Ashford on Monday, the Under 15 girls made it two in two days with a 1 - 0 win over Dover College, again at home at the UKC.

The victory was secured with a first half goal from Georgia Henry, and despite considerable second half pressure, we could not add to the total.

Later in the afternoon, at the same venue, the 1st XI faced the daunting prospect of taking on Sutton Valence, a side to whom they had lost 8 - 0 last season, with a much stronger side.

This time the margin of defeat was only 0 - 2, with Margot Chatenay making some excellent saves, keeping goal in the absence of skipper Annalisa Flood. An encouraging performance against a strong and physical side.
