Little Voices

The children in the Dragonflies, Crickets and Grasshoppers classes were joined by the Key Stage 1 children from four other local schools for Little Voices.

Each school had been given a section of the play "Eddie the Penguin Saves the World" to practise and rehearse before they arrived.

The children gathered in the hall and started the day with a vocal warm up and some drama activities.

A quick break for lunch and a play on the school field...

... and a couple of rehearsals before the parents arrived.

The final show was a fantastic success, all the schools performing their parts wonderfully both separately and together.

Lots of mummies and daddies came to watch!

It was a lovely opportunity for children from different schools to meet each other and work together in a production. A big thank you to Mrs Millard for organising such a great day. We have made some lovely new friends.
