Goodbye to the Dragonflies

Abingdon wished a fond farewell to the Dragonflies with a special Leavers Service in the school chapel.

The parents were treated to singing and musical performances. Madeleine, Molly and Isabel played their descant recorders; Henry played his clarinet and Daniel performed on the piano.

The Ladybirds and Bees sang a Pirate Song, demonstrating different styles of singing for each verse.

All the children sang "Abingdon, Abingdon, We Love You", a song the classes had written themselves in their music lessons this term.

The Dragonflies were welcomed into the Junior School by Mrs Buckingham, Head of the Lower School, and Mrs Frampton-Fell presented each child with a T-Shirt which had a photograph of the class on as a memento.

We are very sad to see them go but luckily they will only be next door!
