Abingdon Day!

The end of the school year was marked by the return of the very popular Abingdon Day. The parents had organised a wonderful "Pirates and Mermaids" themed-day for the children.

There were plenty of wonderful activities for the children to enjoy!

A bouncy castle . . .

. . . cake decorating . . .

. . . pirate and mermaid craft activities . . .

. . . find the treasure and catch the duck . . .

. . . panning for gold . .

. . . and a particular favourite, eating the doughnuts!

All the children won gifts and prizes.

Then they enjoyed a wonderful picnic lunch outside under the shade of the trees. It was just like a street party!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the parents that helped make it such a wonderful day. It was unforgettable!
