Lunchtime concert

Parents, pupils and staff were treated to a packed programme in today’s lunchtime concert.  Debut performances were given by Lower 5th pupils Alvaro Casanovas who played Debussy’s challenging ‘Golliwog’s Cakewalk’ by Debussy and Ruby Bright, who sang the Schubert aria ‘Ständchen’.  Further vocal performances came from Felix Preston, Andrey Abramov, Eloise Newman-Brown and Matilda Trueblood who all explored Baroque repertoire with Purcell, Dowland and Vivaldi.  Congratulations also go to Freddie Rupp (cello), Ella Wheadon (flute) and Will Inscoe (piano) for accomplished and engaging performances throughout.  Huge thanks, as ever, go to Mr Payne for accompanying so beautifully.
