The Honey Bees enjoy a Kic Theatre workshop
The Honey Bees class were very excited to see Ian Crosher from Kic Theatre again. The theme of their workshop, to coincide with their topic work, was Autumn. They started by thinking about the cycle of the seasons and what they might wear in the Autumn. They progressed to harvesting crops, pretending to be a combine harvester and a plough showing great skill at moving in straight lines. They picked apples and pears from trees and built a bonfire with all the fallen leaves. The class showed their knowledge of fireworks in their movements around the room. Lastly they loved being blown around the room like an Autumn leaf moving in the wind. The children behaved beautifully and I was very impressed with their knowledge and use of language. The children thoroughly enjoyed their experience.
