alumnus development of coronavirus vaccine

Alumnus of St Edmund’s and CEO of Serum Institute of India, Adar Poonawalla, is helping to lead the way in developing mass production of the potential coronavirus vaccine. Serum, the world’s largest maker of vaccines by volume, is mass-producing the vaccine candidate developed by the University of Oxford, which started testing on humans last week, and is a leader in the global race to develop an antidote to the novel coronavirus.
