I am Head of PSHEE at St Edmund’s School. I began my career in Library & Information Science, working at the University of Kent Library and later as a School Librarian at a local state school, where I developed an interest in pastoral care and became a tutor and extended schools’ manager.

Since joining St Edmund’s, I have been a form tutor, Senior School Librarian, Deputy Housemaster, and Safeguarding Officer, supporting pupils across all year groups. I am passionate about pastoral care and have implemented a new PSHEE curriculum across Junior and Senior Schools, ensuring resources are authoritative and engaging, helping pupils make informed decisions and develop healthy, positive lifestyles.

I have also worked on staff training and webinars covering safeguarding, mental health, gender, and relationships education, in partnership with EKST and the PSHE Association. My professional development includes a Level 2 Certificate in Children & Young People’s Mental Health, an Advanced Certificate in the Role of an RSHE/PSHE Lead, and participation in multiple PSHE Association courses and conferences.
