St Edmund's
Josie made an impressive start to the 2026/27 swimming season, winning two titles at the opening weekend of the East Invicta (East Kent) Championships during the half-term holiday.
Having only turned 15 on 23 October, Josie competed in the highly competitive 15-and-over age group, facing swimmers including some in their twenties. She rose to the challenge to become East Invicta champion in both the 50m butterfly and the 100m individual medley.
Josie also secured silver in the 50m backstroke and finished fourth in both the 100m and 200m backstroke. Adding to her success, she recorded personal-best times in every event.
The results mark an excellent opening to her championship season, with the Kent Championships in January and February next on the horizon.
