St Edmund’s Announces Senior Prefect Team for 2026–27

St Edmund’s School is delighted to announce the appointment of its Senior Prefect Team for the 2026–27 academic year.

Leading the School as joint Captains of School will be Lottie Haylor and Evan Gallagher, supported by Vice-Captains Olivia Leigh-Hunt, Matthew Williams, Monty White and Rafa Barton-Hodges.

Together, the six senior student leaders bring an impressive 48 years of combined experience at St Edmund’s. Throughout their time at the School, they have demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership and service, making them excellent role models for younger pupils.

The new Senior Prefect Team will lead a wider group of 19 prefects, helping to represent the student body, support School events and initiatives, and contribute to the continued development of the St Edmund’s community.

Their appointment reflects not only their individual achievements but also the remarkable range of skills, knowledge and enthusiasm they bring to their roles. As they prepare to take up their responsibilities in September, they are looking forward to working closely with pupils and staff to strengthen the sense of community and opportunity that defines life at St Edmund’s.

Senior Deputy Head Catherine Shearer said: “We are delighted to appoint such an exceptional group of young people to lead our prefect team next year. They each bring their own strengths, experience and enthusiasm, and I am confident they will be outstanding ambassadors for St Edmund’s and inspiring role models for their fellow pupils.”

The School congratulates Lottie, Evan, Olivia, Matthew, Monty and Rafa on their appointments and wishes them every success as they embark on this important leadership role.
