St Edmund’s Festival on the hill
The Festival on the Hill is a week-long celebration of music, art and theatrical performances featuring world-renowned artists. The programme also includes community and sporting events with fun for all the family.
The St Edmund’s Festival, launched in 2017, was created to celebrate the incredible talents of young people while bringing world-class performers to Canterbury. Since its inception, the festival has grown into a landmark event, attracting renowned artists including Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason, Courtney Pine, Curtis Stigers, Freddie Kempf, Jess Gillam, Ray Gelato, Mark De Lisser, and the Bootleg Beatles.
The school’s dedication to excellence in arts education was recently recognised with the Independent Schools Performing Arts School Award, highlighting the hard work of students and staff in fostering creativity, talent, and a vibrant performing arts community.
