Kathleen Davis joined St Edmund’s as Head of Pre-Prep with a deep commitment to leading this formative stage of children’s education. Guided by values of aspiration, high expectations, and a nurturing approach, she believes that young learners flourish when they feel valued, encouraged, and inspired to achieve their best.

Throughout her career, Kathleen has focused on creating environments where kindness, care, and support allow every child to thrive. She is passionate about helping pupils develop strong academic foundations alongside confidence, resilience, and curiosity. Her educational philosophy emphasises fostering a love of learning from the very beginning, encouraging children to explore, ask questions, and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.

Kathleen also believes that the most powerful education is achieved through close partnerships with families and colleagues, ensuring that school and home work in harmony to support each child.
