TERMS AND CONDITIONS
THE ARTIST You must be the owner of the submitted artwork and the work submitted is of your own origination. By submitting the digital entry form, you accept that if shortlisted, your selected artwork must be delivered to St Edmund’s School Canterbury by Wednesday 17th June 2026. The short-listed candidates and winners of the competition will be invited to the prize presentation at St Edmund’s School on Wednesday 25th June 2026.
The Organisers endeavour to take care of your work, but will not be liable for any loss or damage to any artworks physically submitted at any point. Once registered for this competition, all Artists agree that we, The Organisers and The Sponsors, may reproduce the Artists’ work for purposes of marketing, promotion, discussion and education.
Theme: ‘CONCEAL / REVEAL’
Pupils are encouraged to develop their own creative interpretation of the theme and to be as imaginative as possible. Works can be hyper realistic or abstract in style. All submitted works must be accompanied by a brief description about the piece.
Accepted media includes painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and mixed media, mixed media and analogue photography.
How to submit work:
Stage 1 – One artwork per entrant submitted digitally. Follow the link that can be found on www.stedmundsfestival.org.uk.
DEADLINE Monday 4th May 2026.
Stage 2 – If contacted, winners, runners up and highly commended works to be delivered to St Edmund’s School, St Thomas Hill, Canterbury, CT2 8HU by Wednesday 19th June. Works may be retained at St Edmund’s until 5th July. The private view and prize giving will take place on Wednesday 25th June 2026 at 6pm.
