Behind-the-scenes experience of Aladdin

Our Drama Scholars recently embarked on a magical journey to the Marlowe Theatre for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience of the upcoming production of Aladdin.

They were treated to an extraordinary opportunity as they witnessed the technical rehearsal of Aladdin, a production that promises to transport audiences to a world of wonder and enchantment. From the mesmerising set designs to the intricate lighting cues, our scholars had a front-row seat to the meticulous preparation that goes into creating a theatrical treat for the whole family.

The highlight of the trip was the chance to interact with the talented cast and crew responsible for bringing Aladdin to life. It was a unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about the creative process, the challenges faced during rehearsals, and the collaborative effort required to stage a production of this magnitude.

The trip to the Marlowe Theatre proved to be more than just a spectacle; it was a brilliant learning experience for our Drama Scholars. Witnessing the dedication and passion of the professionals behind the scenes served as an inspiration for our budding thespians. The technical intricacies, the attention to detail, and the commitment to storytelling were invaluable lessons that will undoubtedly shape the future endeavours of our Drama Scholars.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Marlowe Theatre and the entire team behind Aladdin for opening their doors to our scholars. Special thanks to Paul Hendy, Emily Wood, and everyone else involved working at Evolution Production, whose guidance and insights added immeasurable value to the experience.

As our Drama Scholars return with a wealth of knowledge and inspiration, we eagerly anticipate the upcoming production of Aladdin. Armed with a newfound appreciation for the artistry of theatre, our scholars are poised to apply their learnings to their own creative pursuits.
