St Edmund's

On Wednesday evening in The Theatre, St Edmund’s School hosted the first EKST Duke of Edinburgh Awards Night. Bringing together schools from the local area to celebrate pupils and staff (and parents) who have worked together to successfully achieve both Bronze and (in some cases) Silver Award standard. The Theatre was full with pupils, staff and parents from St Edmund’s, St Anselm’s, Herne Bay High and St Lawrence College. The evening celebrated what young people can achieve when they work together and for others, with an introduction from St Edmund’s followed by certificates and badges for all award winners and wonderful words and memories from our guest speaker Mike Walters (Executive Principal of St Anselm’s, St Edmund’s Catholic School and Ursuline College).
