Open Air Production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Mr Sell and U6 A-Level Drama pupils have started rehearsals for their practical exam in our new Open Air Theatre over in the Forest School.  It is an abridged version, set in the 1920s and promises to be great fun.  It is the first time that we have taken on a production in an outside arena, which will come with many challenges for our young actors.  However, this will provide wonderful opportunities for our pupils to grasp the technique and artistry required for such an ambitious project.  Mr Sell tells me that the pupils have been chomping at the bit to perform, as their last opportunity was in the brilliant Chicago, pre-pandemic.  Details on performances and tickets are being finalised, so please watch this space.
