Junior School House Singing Competition 2020

The Junior House Singing Competition 2020 gave a chance for all four houses to perform Original Songs from 2010-19.  Dr David Flood was our adjudicator and he commented on the energy and enjoyment that each house clearly displayed in their performances.  It was a pleasure to see that pupils were able to coordinate their songs with movement, simple harmonies and other voice divisions which added variety and interest, all in the space of three weeks.  After each house had performed, the Musical Theatre Club singers performed Sparkle and Shine from Nativity the Musical whilst final decisions were being made. Grateful thanks go to Dr Flood, Mr Sykes, Mr Hawkins and all the Music and JS staff for supporting, and making the event go so smoothly.  Well done to you all and particularly to Becket House on achieving first place.
