Boarding Matron (Residential)

A wonderful opportunity has become available in Boarding at St Edmund’s.  The position of Boarding Matron is an important pastoral role working with all our boarding pupils.  The role is residential which means the successful candidate will be provided with accommodation all year round, no expenses and free meals during term time.

As Boarding Matron you should enjoy interacting and working with pupils and be prepared to oversee their domestic, medical and pastoral development out of school hours. The Matron is expected to work closely with the Director of Boarding, Housemasters, boarding team, pupils and the Day Matron, and with the Medical Centre staff and the Deputy Head Pastoral. The suitable candidate for this role will have both the ability to work autonomously and be flexible enough to work as a team player.
