Pre-Reception
In the Pre-Reception Class the school day, during term time, is from 8.00am-3.10pm. We are open for an extended day from 7.30am-6.00pm if necessary.
Our beautiful Junior School is a friendly and caring environment in which children take their all-important first steps in school.
We cover the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework using a topic approach.
Learning in Pre-Reception is about experimenting, investigating, discussing and playing – with great emphasis on fun.
School day timings are flexible – children can stay for mornings until noon, stay for lunch until 1.30pm, or all day until 3.10pm. Parents can claim government funding for morning sessions. We offer a year round provision (49 weeks of the year) with early start and late stay available from 7.30am – 6pm.
Our Junior School is situated on our beautiful 3-18 school site and benefits from the whole school facilities.

Pre-Reception Timetable
| 7.30-8.00am | Breakfast club includes a choice of cereals, bread, toast, porridge, fruit and drinks. (Option available on request) |

| 12.00 | Morning Session finishes |
| 12.00 | Lunch includes a choice of delicious, healthy, hot and cold options. Look at the menus for more detail. |
| 1.30pm | Extended Morning Session finishes |
| 3.10-3.30pm | Day finishes |
| 3.30-5.30pm | Late Stay this provision is run by Junior school staff on our site. A cold/hot meal is provided at 4.45pm. |
