St Edmund’s School is situated on the outskirts of the historic city of Canterbury in Kent. Canterbury is full of heritage and culture and whilst Canterbury Cathedral is one of the main attractions the city is proud of its state-of-the-art theatre, cinemas, restaurants, museums and art galleries. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is close to the spectacular beaches on the East Kent coast.
There are good road and rail links to the surrounding areas and London. The high speed rail link to London St Pancras station offers a journey time of 55 minutes.
For international travellers, Canterbury has easy access to all the airports in the South East of England (Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted) as well as the ferry ports at Dover and Eurotunnel stations at Folkestone, Ashford and Ebbsfleet.
The school operates a minibus service across Kent for day pupils and is introducing a service for weekly boarders to/from London.
