The House System
The House System
- The competitive house system is at the heart of Junior School life.
- Pupils are assigned to one of four Houses—Becket, Roper, Marlowe, or Chaucer—named after notable local figures, fostering an interest in local history.
- Houses build teamwork and friendships across year groups, with older pupils mentoring younger ones, and each house supports a chosen charity.
- Throughout the year, pupils compete in a wide range of inter-house events, from sports, chess, and debating to singing, drama, baking, and even a FIFA league.
